Completely custom to the space, the Tamara Mellon NYC flagship buildout is a permanent installation inspired by the shoe empress’ closet at home. Adorned with a serpentine white oak wooden sculpture, the windowscape and entry of the space ooze luxury that leads into the primary retail space. Working directly with the installers, I fabricated and drew most aspects for this project including the curved slatted walls, hovering oak bench, serpentine shelving unit, curved walls, archways, mirror niches and shelving niches.
